If you like to go fast, choose a cruiser with a wide deck and wide trucks for more stability at high speeds. Take a look at the boards from Madrid, Santa Cruz, and Globe.

If you want to be more playful and maneuverable, go for a narrower deck with narrower trucks. You've probably seen a narrow plastic board in cheerful colors on the street.
