    2 mm Men Wetsuit

For warmer water conditions, you can use a wetsuit with thinner neoprene. This not only keeps you warm longer, but also protects you well against the bright sun. We recommend opting for thinner neoprene from water temperatures of 20 degrees or above. 2 mm wetsuits come in different shapes, colours and designs. This way, you are able to get exactly the wetsuit you desire!

A common species of 2 mm wetsuits is the shorty. This wetsuit has short arms and legs so that you do not get too hot in the water, but avoid those nasty rashes! It is also possible to have it with long sleeves and short legs, or vice versa. In short, it is a smaller wetsuit with great possibilities! A thinner wetsuit with long arms and legs is also commonly referred to in the surf world as a springsuit. Another option is to merely wear a Wetsuit jacket, such as this one from Volcom.

With thin neoprene wetsuits, the fit is also very important. The better the wetsuit fits, the longer you can stay in the water. A choice between different elements of the wetsuit can be made. For example, there is the possibility of a Back Zip, Front Zip or Zipless. There is also a difference in the seams. Curious to know all the potential differences? Then check out our Wetsuit Guide where we explain everything! If you still can’t figure it out or are unsure between several wetsuits, you are always welcome in our surf shop where we will be happy to provide you with expert advice. Not in the neighbourhood?
