For the North Sea winters, you will need a wetsuit with thick neoprene. Thick neoprene has large closed air cells that warm up to your body temperature. This keeps you warm longer when water temperatures drop. Thicker wetsuits often come with a lining that keeps you extra warm. We recommend a 5 mm wetsuit at water temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees.

5 mm wetsuits must fit snugly in order for them to serve you best! As soon as the wetsuit is too big, a new layer of water will flow in. This prevents the wetsuit from heating up and you will get out of the water faster. 5 mm wetsuits will also come with taped or sealed seams, ensuring that less cold water flows into your wetsuit.
