CI Surf G-Skate - Futures - Shortboard Surfboard

The G-Skate is a fast, skatey and responsive hybrid design was born from a collaboration between Britt Merrick and the three Gudauskas brothers-Dane, Pat & Tanner. The board is made to get you feeling like the brother's energy; pure stoke.

Their goal was to make something with a fresh feel that can do good turns in good surf, but glide through flatter sections with ease. There was one important condition during development: the G Skate still had to perform at the highest possible level. They achieved this by shortening their typical shortboard rail line by 5" and adding bends and contours in key places that kept them on top of the water and did not hinder their turns in any way. Adding a 2 + 1 (twin plus trailer) fin set-up completed the whole concept.

The G Skate has plenty of speed thanks to its light single to double concave, low entry rocker, width point forward and its modern shortboard rails provide all the precision and control you could wish for. The board works both as a 2+1 and as a thruster.

The G-Skate is a board that belongs in any quiver where fun and performance are the goal. This board is 3" to 6" shorter and has the same thickness as your CI Pro.
