It all started with the ‘ HART wear,’ founded in 1971 by Etsko Schuitema, Way back Etsko started developing clothing with edgy graphic prints and opened a real fashion forward surf-shop in the early 80’s. Brands and shops from France and California passed by to get inspired by this rebel surfbrand founded in Scheveningen.

Today the ‘Hart’ Collection is still here while Hart Beach grew into one of the biggest surf lifestyle communities in Europe. We keep on carrying our mission is to make surf and surf lifestyle accessible for everybody.

For our inhouse created Hart Beach collection, we work with local suppliers and partners as much as we can. Local people are a great inspiration while making these collections, since Hart Beach is a place for everybody, from old legends to rebellious teenagers, happy campers & single souls, wannabe rockstars or fortune hunters, or just you and your friends sharing the love for the ocean.
