Hart Beach is a family business and the ultimate surf location in Scheveningen–there’s always something going on here! Surf school, surf shop, and restaurant; Hart Beach has it all. This unique combination creates a fun, thriving atmosphere. As one of our restaurant floor managers, you’ll play a key role in the full Hart Beach experience. Together with your fellow three managers, you’re the driving force behind our team, the link between departments, and the go-to person on the floor. In summer, you bring structure to the chaos. In winter, you bring focus and calm.
What will you do?- Lead an energetic and motivated team
- Guide, motivate, and support your team in their daily tasks
- Recruit new team members and provide a great training experience
- Create work schedules and plan ahead smartly
- Work closely with the other restaurant managers to keep things running smoothly
- Hold meetings and provide clear, constructive feedback to your team
- Be the go-to on the floor and maintain a clear overview
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and overall upkeep of the space (HACCP!)
- Contribute ideas to boost revenue, service, and atmosphere
- Get creative: help organise events and brainstorm marketing initiatives
