CI Surf Al Merrick Feb's Fish - Performance Shortboard

The Feb’s Fish is the latest creation born from Michael February's relentless curiosity to explore new surfing lines, brought to life by Britt Merrick's innovative designs. Sometimes Mikey requests entirely original concepts; other times, he reimagines a classic design. The latter was the case when he asked Britt for a traditional fish outline with a modern twist: contemporary bottom contours, adjusted rocker, and finely foiled rails to deliver top-level performance.

Throughout its development and refinement, Feb discovered this new fish effortlessly handles a wide range of conditions: from pulling into hollow tubes in Mainland Mexico, to flowing highlines at Rincon, and committing to tight, powerful turns at Jeffrey’s Bay or Morocco, to cruising through smaller days at Emma Wood. This board has become a staple in his travel quiver and his go-to choice for home sessions.

To complement the fish design, we introduced an all-new fin template: the Britt Fish Fin (BFF). The BFF offers a perfectly balanced shape between our BMT and AMK templates, providing a stable, drivey fin that transitions smoothly through turns.
