Mid-lengths, also known as fun boards, are boards for surfers that aren’t beginners anymore, but also aren’t exactly pro’s. These boards usually range from 6’2 to 8’1 and have a high volume. Despite its high volume, these boards are easier to turn than a longboard. A mid-length board is perfect as your first hard board, for surfers that are ready for their next step. Besides, a mid-length board is a wonderful addition to your quiver for smaller days, or when you feel playful.
